Michael Snow is a Public Health Educator and Program Manager at HEPPAC, overseeing the Overdose Prevention, Education & Naloxone Distribution (OPEND) Program and East Bay Drug Checking (EBDC). With more than 20 years of experience in substance use disorder services, infectious disease prevention, and community health outreach, Michael has trained thousands of community members, healthcare providers, first responders, law enforcement personnel, and service organizations throughout the Bay Area.

His work focuses on overdose prevention, addiction medicine, naloxone distribution and drug checking. Michael works to expand access to education, resources, and care in community-based, clinical and non-clinical settings, particularly for underserved communities and communities of color.

Outside of his work in public health, Michael enjoys supporting local businesses and staying connected to his community. He is also a passionate Oakland Raiders fan who remains committed to finding a way for his team to live up to its legendary motto: “Just Win, Baby!” RAAAAAIDERS!
